Self Portrait 'Looking Inwards, Looking Outwards' - Open Edition
This is my only self-portrait. Contrary to what is commonly thought, many artists I know, struggle with self-portraiture. I am one of those artists. It is difficult to paint oneself, because, I think we all have an image of how we look. When truly reflecting on our physical image - looking intensely at oneself in the mirror - there is often a disconnect between our image of self, and the image reflected back to us.
